Children
Sunday Activities:
Sunday School 9:45am
Each Sunday, we provide age-appropriate classes designed to teach children the truth of the Bible.
Junior Church 11:00am
Children meet with the adults for the beginning of the morning worship service but are then dismissed to an age-appropriate church service where they learn the value of worship and service in the local church. 4 year-olds-1 graders meet in the Apple Room while 2nd-5th graders meet upstairs in Clinton Hall.
Wednesday Activities:
AWANA Clubs 6:30-8:15pm
AWANA Clubs are designed to help children to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ by getting as much of God's Word as we can into the hearts of as many children as we can. To do that, we offer a program which involves high-energy activities, incentivized learning, and age-appropriate chapel services. AWANA Clubs typically coincide with the MPUSD school calendar.
Summer Activities:
Vacation Bible School
Each Summer, we host a Vacation Bible School for all 4 year-olds through 5th graders. The program is held from Monday-Friday in the evening and includes skits, crafts, games, snacks, and more.
Summer Camp
For a week out of each summer, we take off for Grass Valley, CA to attend Wolf Mountain Camp. This provides 3rd-6th graders with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make new friends, and enjoy fun activities. Most importantly, this gets kids away from the distractions of technology and into a place where they can enjoy God's handiwork and hear His voice through the dynamic preaching of His Word.
